This is a miniature flute or in chinese, we call it the Kou Di.
The different pitches of the Kou Di is controlled by the two thumbs and two index fingers on both hands.
The sound that comes out of the Kou Di is very sharp and bright and it is usually played to mimic the sound of a bird chirping.
The tuning of the Kou Di needs to be controlled by the angle of your air motion as well as adjusting the position of your thumbs.
Available in other keys as well. Please email us at tansungwah@eason.com.sg.
