We were asked to check out the Erhus of this maker known as BZY by an Erhu maker in China thus we ordered a few to test out the quality.
Well, we were pleasantly surprised by what we saw. BZY2 sounds very pleasant - sweet and warm, and it plays easily. The instrument is responsive and does not take too much effort to make a good sound.
We think it will be a good choice for a beginner who wants a good Erhu, or someone who is looking to upgrade his starter Erhu to something else.
The price is very reasonable as well, especially in this age where wood prices are increasing at an alarming rate.
