We picked the wood because it is one of the gorgeous looking small leaf sandalwood that we have came across. Then we fitted it with a snakeskin that is does justice to the wood. The small leaf sandalwood hails from India, which is of a higher grade than HEH32.

The final product is a erhu that is rich, sweet and unbelievably clean. And the best thing is that the erhu will get better and better with each and every stroke.
