This is a another different designed Gaohu by erhu maker Man Rui Xing of Beijing, with a round shaped resonator.

Material used in this Gaohu is Violet Sandalwood. Fitted with customed made bridges, the tone produced is rich and clear and sounds less nasal than the other Man Rui Xing Gaohus.

Not too loud or jarring, this instrument exuberates a subtle elegance, as with all Man Rui Xing instruments.
