This is a unique Gaohu by erhu maker Man Rui Xing of Beijing. The shape is slightly different from the traditional gaohus around. They call it the Guanghu because the sound produced is close to that of a traditional Guangdong Gaohu.

Material used is the very rare and valuable Small Leaf Sandalwood. Fitted with noise reduction plates, the tone produced is rich and sweet.

Not too loud or jarring, this instrument exuberates a subtle elegance, as with all Man Rui Xing instruments.
