Maintenance of Wind Instruments

Dizi
- Made of Bamboo, easy to dry up and crack
- After using, wipe saliva with cloth and keep Dizi in the bag or case to prevent dust from entering
- Maintain cleanliness of Dizi
- For personal hygiene, use individually
- Use Dimo glue to affix the Dizi membrane. Do not use saliva

Sheng
- Do not grab the reeds or flutes of the Sheng when taking out of the case
- Put back in the case after using
- After using, wash and disinfect the mouth piece and Sheng base. - Dab a little sewing machine oil onto the screws on the Sheng
- A Sheng player should be equipped with the basic knowledge of the mechanisms of Sheng so as to take good care of the instrument
